Beanie's Clubhouse is dedicated in memory of Ms. Jasmine "Beanie" Fleming.
May 2, 1987 - October 12, 2018

Hey friends! We are excited to be having our soft opening on May 13th, so let me share a little back story about how Beanie's Clubhouse came about... But first let me introduce myself! My name is Melanie but close friends and family know me as Meme. I'm also known as Ms. Mel. I have worked with children for over 15 years and I must say that I love getting to know them and their little personalities. It is also rewarding watching them grow in every aspect of their life! I love when I see my babies all grown up and doing great things in life! It has always been my dream to provide my very own safe space for children, and it's FINALLY HERE!!! Beanie's Clubhouse is important to me, not only because I am able to provide a safe space for all of my new little friends, but also because it was created in memory of my sister Jasmine R. Fleming, who passed away on October 12, 2018. All who knew her, knew her as "Beanie"! Beans loved the kids! She worked in the Guilford County School System in Greensboro, NC as a bus driver throughout her college years and beyond! She was a great foster mom and bonus mom to many other children. She was also a wonderful Auntie and a great friend! She had such a nurturing spirit! Beanie was funny, loving, caring, and giving! She is greatly missed, but my memories of her are forever in my heart! So now that you know a little bit about Beanie's Clubhouse, come on out and hang out with me during our soft opening! It's approaching quick, so mark you calendars and come on out! Remember, the first 15 parents will receive a free hour of drop-in care! I look forward to building new little friendships and providing a safe space for them while in my care! Hope to meet you soon!

Hey Friends!! Children who participate in positive activities over the summer months have greater self-esteem, receive better grades, and feel a stronger sense of community. For $125, your generous sponsorship will send a child to Beanie's Summer Camp for one week! Your support will be given to a local child who ordinarily would not attend due to financial restraints.

If you would like to sponsor a child, feel free to email us at Subject: Sponsor a Camper
